Hello Family,
I was born in Cairo, Egypt in a family of 5 sisters and 2 brothers. I came to know Jesus as my Lord and Savior at the age of 14. A few month later, I immigrated to the U.S. and lived in Downey, California. When I came to the U.S, I joined the Christian Arabic Church in Anaheim and became one of the original founders of the church. There, I led youth groups, the newcomers ministry, and was involved in several community outreaches.
As time went on, God continued to bring favor in every area of my life. He led me through High school and the completion of an Associate Degree in Accounting. In 1992, I married Iman, an amazing women of God, and together we had two beautiful daughters, Amanda and Janel.
In 2007, the Lord led me back to school where I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and went on to get my Masters in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. In 2011, the Holy Spirit led me to leave my job and serve in full time ministry.
In 2014, I was ordained as a pastor and served as a co-pastor at The Last Harvest Church, in El Cajon, California. I then volunteered as an intern in Eastlake Church, in Chula Vista, California while also being part of the Pastoral Support Team at the Rock Church San Diego. Since then, I've been on numerous mission trips to the Middle East where I've had the privilege to preach the Gospel and see amazing miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit.
For over nine years, God has passionately put on my heart a deep rooted love to minister and disciple. I asked the Lord to see His power and His glory at work in the ministry and understand that there is always sacrifices that need to be made. We have seen many lives transformed and renewed through the teaching of the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit. We recently started “Open Heaven Christian Fellowship” in our home as a ministry directed toward young adults and soon after moved into a church building serving all peoples. We have also started doing retreats where people come and experience the presence of the Holy Spirit and the Love of Jesus that transforms lives. In addition, I invest many hours in counseling and discipling individuals and couples in the truth of the Gospel.
I look forward to everything God is going to do and the Holy Spirit’s guidance as we continue to focus on Jesus and His Kingdom.
We are a community of believers in Jesus Christ.
As people of Jesus Christ, we hope to share as much as we can with our community and give back to it. We know that God desires for us to know Him and walk with Him as we continue love one another and walk with one another.
As our community gathers, whether in homes or in a building, the Love of Christ should abound as we come together in His name. We hope to be an extension of God's open arms to those who seek Him and need Him.
Matthew 22:36-40
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
We believe in one God, Who created the heaven and earth, and of all things seen and
unseen.
We believe God is the creator of all things and that man exists to enjoy Him and bring
glory to Him.
We believe God is one in three persons, God the Father, God the begotten Son (Jesus
Christ), God the Holy Spirit.
We believe sin separates man from God and that God, through the death, burial and
resurrection of his begotten son, Jesus Christ, actually saves helpless sinners. He does
not merely assist sinners in saving themselves. We believe sinners are saved through
the grace of God alone, by faith, trusting in God. When a person chooses to follow
Jesus, the Holy Spirit comes to live in that person, continually giving power to
live according to God’s word.
We believe in the returning of Jesus Christ in glory with His holy angels to take the
Church.
We believe that Church is the living body of Christ the pillar and foundation of truth.
We believe that each believer receives the Holy Spirit at conversion. We believe in the
baptism of the Holy Spirit, which brings power to the believer for daily sanctified
living and for the administration of spiritual gifts.
The infilling of the Holy Spirit is not a one-time event, but is repeatable throughout the
believer’s life.
We believe all scripture is given by inspiration of God without error, and the only
unfailing rule for proper living in every area of life, personal and public.
We believe that Jesus has been given all authority in heaven and on earth, and has
commanded His Church to make disciples of all peoples in all nations, teaching them to
love, honor, and obey God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe the devil, Satan, is a defeated foe, and that Jesus will return in glory to the
earth.
We believe that the earth and all its fullness is the Lord’s and that every area dominated
by sin is in bondage and needs to be transformed to the purposes of God as expressed
in his word. This includes the individual, the family, the church, and society at large.
We declare the lordship of Christ in every sphere through the preaching of his word,
through prayer and through the lifestyle of the believer.
John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
The Gospel or "Good News" of Jesus Christ does not remain in one person for it cannot be contained.
God's immense blessings such as Love, Grace, Peace, Truth, and so much more, can only be shared.
The Good News of Christ, is not always on the front page of the newspaper or the front lines of media outlets; as far as we know it may never be. The bottom line is that Jesus himself has called those who believe in Him to share the Good News. That we now have a Savior, who saves us from sin and eternal condemnation.
That is why our mission is to communicate the Gospel message and make disciples of Jesus Christ in the community and abroad. To share all that God has for us, under His Open Heaven and for the world to know.
Matthew 28:19
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
